How Cheap Airlines Compete With Major Air Carriers

If you’ve never used a discount cheap airline for your travel needs it may be time to give them a try. Many people get the wrong idea about what these no frills airlines are about and have some misconceptions about what to expect if they do ever buy a ticket. The first time you fly on a one of these flights you will be pleasantly surprised at the service offered and will probably be more willing to fly one of these discount carriers again.
<br />Cheap airlines exist for one reason, to give the average traveler a reliable and cheap travel alternative. The thing to remember is that these discount airlines are cheap in name only. They are run as professionally as any other large major airline and in many cases surpass them in customer service and reliability.

Their planes and pilots are subject to the same federal rules and regulations as all other domestic carriers as well as their maintenance and safety standards. The flight attendants must undergo the customer service and safety training, and in many cases are even more customer service friendly then their major airline compatriots. The over riding philosophy in the discount airline industry is to keep their customers for life. They do this by offering good no frills service at a good price.

If you are wondering about the comfort to be found on a discount carrier’s flight there is nothing to worry about. They do not pack people into small seats with no leg room, this would be counter productive to their ultimate goal; keeping their passengers happy and flying with them in the future. The seating is the same as any other airline, with the same size seats and legroom making any length flights comfortable for everyone. There is also excellent overhead storage space much like you would find on any airplane.

While you won’t find full meal services on cheap airlines their beverage and snack services are more than adequate. In fact many discount air carriers go above and beyond when it comes to making the passengers comfortable. They will leave an entire can of soda with each passenger as well as a larger and better selection of snacks. Once again their philosophy of happy customers shows through with even the simplest aspects of their flights.

If you want to get from one destination to another quickly, easily, cheaply, and hassle free then it only makes sense to check into a cheap airline.

That’s amazing! It always seem easier to draw on the computer then on paper. Really now, to color like that makes me curious, though everyone’s style of art is different.

The cheapest Airlines that fly between Australia and NZ are:: (in no order)

http://www.flypacificblue.com (they have happy hour prices at lunch time)

http://www.jetstar.com

http://www.emirates.com

http://www.qantas.com.au

http://www.airnz.com

Are you a student? Then try cheaper fares at http://www.studentflights.com.au

For a "one site search" to compare between them all go http://www.webjet.com.au – they charge a $20 booking fee, but once you know what airline and flight # is the cheapest, go back and just book through their airlines site. (it just saves time)

Air NZ also has another website called Grab-A-Seat. Sometime you can get a real bargain, $1 fares to $49. It's mainly travel within NZ, but some times they do real cheap deals to Australia. Best to check the site daily to see what special they have up there (changes all the time) see http://www.grabaseat.co.nz

You can use one of the internet travel search engines to do some initial research. I normally use either http://www.travelocity.com or http://www.orbitz.com. You can specify dates, a range of dates (+/- 3 days), or just specify you have no dates and want the best deals.

After that, it may be worth a try at checking the very airlines that are identified with the deals. Sometimes, the best deals are not posted in general websites and you can only get access to them on the specific Airline website either as a special or webfare.

Good Luck
