Flights to Gran Canaria

One of the coveted tourist spots in the Canary Islands is Gran Canaria. It is the third largest island of the Canary Islands. The yellow sand dunes, the blue water under the azure sky and cheap holiday resorts make the island a tourists’ paradise. So visitors book cheap flights to Gran Canaria to enjoy its beauty and grandeur. The smart flights would take the visitors to Las Palmas—the capital city located in the north-east of the island.

Best time to fly to Gran Canaria:

If the holiday deals are planned at least six to eight months beforehand then cheap air tickets are available. Lucrative air fares are available between November to mid-December and between March and May (excluding the Easter holidays). Last minute flights may cost a bit more.

Best time to travel to Gran Canaria:

Gran Canaria has been described by the tourists as the ‘island of the eternal spring’. It draws tourists almost round the year. The cool winter season draws the maximum number of tourists and December to February is considered as ‘high season’. Since it is a mountainous island, trade winds blow throughout the year. The island has mountains in the centre, while the north terrain and west coasts are craggy.

That’s amazing! It always seem easier to draw on the computer then on paper. Really now, to color like that makes me curious, though everyone’s style of art is different.

You must have a passport to travel between the UK and mainland Europe, including the Canary Islands. She will not be allowed to board the plane without a passport. Sorry.

The shortest flight duration between Manchester and Las Palmas is 4 hours, its usually a bit longer.

Theres no direct flights.

I would have thought the easiest would be to do KL to London or Manchester direct with Malaysian Airlines (I've travelled with them on the four times I've been to Malaysia and they are excellent-leg room is good too in economy.

Then, pick up a package or diy holiday available at any of the online sites
http://www.thomsonholidays.co.uk
http://www.thomascook.com
http://www.directholidays.co.uk

Prices will vary- theres everything from cheap and cheerless to luxury hotels prices are all very dependant on season too.
Its around 4 hours from UK. KL is 14 hrs approx to London or Manchester.

Gran Canaria uses the euro and is nothing like as cheap as Malaysia- if it were me I'd stay in the Orient and go to Penang or Langkawi. Theres also flights with emirates direct to Dubai which might be easier and cheaper overall once to take into account the huge expense for what is after all a pretty ordinary beach holiday compared to what there is in the Orient!

Good luck

Assuming it is from Newcastle in the United Kingdom a direct flight would be approx. 4 Hrs 59 Min. You can get flight times for airports all over the world at http://www.jets.com/
