That’s amazing! It always seem easier to draw on the computer then on paper. Really now, to color like that makes me curious, though everyone’s style of art is different.

Because airlines sometimes have sales, it depends when you want to go.

Currently, BCN-MAD one-way looks like $47 USD on Air Europa.

I haven't looked from Barcelona, but you can change the cities on the website.

The weather should be warm and lovely at that time of year – i think for a young single Ibiza is the best bet for you.

There are several low-cost airlines on this route:
http://www.vueling.com
http://www.airberlin.com
http://www.clickair.com
http://www.transavia.com
Of these, Air Berlin has reputation as the "best" with lots of customer niceties (meals, roomy seating, etc.); however, they also seem nearly twice the price of the others on this route currently. Since this is a relatively short flight, I'd choose based primarily on price, and in that case, ClickAir is coming up cheaper on sample dates I checked.

Sometimes the large, established legacy airlines (Iberia and KLM in this case) offer competitive prices.

I'd go for whichever is cheapest, and pocket the savings : )

HOLY CRAP! Comparing this to the original picture, they’re identical!

I just came back from Barcelona last week and what the locals mentioned is that Fall (late-October) and Winter are normally wet through March…hence off-season.

Hotels (or Hostels) are normally inexpensive (relative) but I found Barcelona is a very easy city to get around or walk around. Taxi's were the cheapest as compared to Italy or French Riviera cities. The Barcelona Pass allows you to use public transportation (bus/subway) for the whole day and you get discounts to some of the museums.

I stayed at the Grand Marina, but I think if I go again, I'll stay closer to the north side of Placa de Catalunya…the main square in Barcelona.

Good Luck and Have Fun.
